Incubating Reflections by Joey Rocha

Encounter,

multitude of stars

Taken up,

beyond Jupiter and Mars

The closer I get,

the more that I see

Multitude of stars,

waiting for me

Vision grows clearer,

what’s this I perceive

Not stars at all,

diamonds I see

Rainbow of colors,

swirling within

Incubating reflections,

The children of Him

Too many to count,

beauty untold

The children of Him,

all part of a fold

Army of light,

darkness appeal

Waiting to birth,

glories reveal

All creation groans,

deep from within

Eager expectation,

The children of Him

Of that time,

nobody knows

Incubating reflections,

need time to grow

But on that day,

when all is revealed

The sun and the moon,

they both will yield

The Father of lights,

will make His sons known

When the heavens,

fold up like a scroll

The stars will fall,

like figs off a limb

Incubating reflections,

The children of Him

(Romans 8:19)
